Nature: Ribena berries

Spotted this at the Gaya Street Sunday Market.

What the...

Ribena berries??!!

I mean, what in the world are these things anyway?

From memory, Ribena berries are nothing like the spikey puffer fish-ish looking thing in that basket. They should be ROUND, PURPLE, cute and adorable… like on the Ribena drink advertisements, that is.

Hahaha! Ah...the Ribena Berries.. Brings back a lot of memories. You know, I used to make the drink and freeze it. Ice Ribena Popsicles = Bliss of Childhood.

But if those spiky things are REALLY the Ribena fruits, then yes, we've all been cheated.

Nasty looking....

Could be a misspelled 'Fruit' or 'Food' I think there's an 'o' in there...

I have a strong feeling that crossed out word is 'Foot'.

Look closely.
