Music: Space...
Over the weekend on Sunday, I made it to Skyline SIB church in Kota Kinabalu, prior to running of abruptly at the end to go to work. Singing the song Amazing Grace (John Newton, 1779) just absolutely touched me in a way I have not felt for a long time. Especially when we got to the chorus "...T'was Grace that brought us safe thus far... and Grace will lead us home".
*I got teary eyed, but who cares!
Feeling inspired and all, I decided to pick up the guitar to do a wee rendition of the song, but came out with this instead... Have a listen to ~ Space.*It's far from Amazing Grace... I know.
Don't ask me how it happened, but at least I tried right?

great try..but different version...
this amazing grace will make me cry again tho...
take heart... at least u r not in a war forsaken country... :p I don't think this makes u feel better huh? anyway, cheer up... U still have us...
I can't listen from work, but will catch it from home.
Lots of voices rising to Amazing Grace always bring tears to my eyes too. That, and the national anthem. Our music is so varied these days that there are few songs that 200,000 in one arena can join in. I'm always moved to tears when that many come together.
I haven't heard the music yet as I'm still at work, but I applaud your bravery in putting it up on the net. I'm guessing you are a much better musician than I ever was!
Also interesting - the church's website. For whatever reason, it never occured to me that a local church would have its own site. Why not, though? It's a great idea for building a "community", which is at least part of the point, right?
maybe u should try adding vocals to ur creations. like, u singing, mayyyybe? hehe
Jo: Hope you're alright.
m@ri: Oh... I'm all teary eyed for different reasons. Spiritual reasons...
gnightgirl: It's such an old, but meaningful song ain't it?
g: I guess the community is moving towards that direction ~ eCommunities.
Di.lir'i.us: I can't sing for nuts la!
Wahh... so nice! Working in Korea! You know how to speak korean language?
こうゆうけん: Sometimes I wished I was still working back in Korea, but I'm not. In Kota Kinabalu (Malaysia) now...
hteekay: Go get stuffed la you... heartless fella!
