@ Work: Girlie men playing with soap bubbles?
OK, what would you make out of BIG BURLY men carrying bottled soap water, spraying bubbles all over the place... girlie?
Heck NO! That's how we (engineers) check for air/gas leaks on pipes, lines and hoses... There's just no other more convenient + cheap way to do it.
By the way, MY bottle is transparent PINK. ;)

i would think it's the metrosexual factor that is taking place in this context.
not bad. =)
d: Metrosexual? I had to actually look up a dictionary for that one! Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep
Louyau: Well, liquid penetrant is different.
For this one, let's say you THINK you have a leak on a gas line, or a pipe. You can hear the hissing leaking noise, but can't quite make out where it's at. Pour soap water all over the area, and you'll immediately see soap bubbles forming at where the leak is. Then you can decide if it's possible to fix it. Works at home too... Fast, easy and accurate.
Kimchee: I had two friends look it through with me. But I guess the case officer either didn't like the idea of crossing the line, didn't know her limits as an officer, or like you said... was playing b***h. Thanks for the concern mate.
hey there! you gave me this add some time back but no time to check it out. I'm going KL next weekeng - guess I won't see you! Simon Ng getting married tmr, & I met ZY (best man) and June Lee (planner) at the rehearsal last night!
Very good idea!!!
Reminds me how I check leakage in my bicycle tyres...dunk the tubes into a basin of soap water! Works always...and then patch it up!
LiMing: Hope you check in more often. Tell me when we'll be in the same area, and maybe we'll do a meal.
Laynie/Kim: Great idea isn't it? And it's a lot easier to get that stuff (soap) off your hands compared to some other industrial chemicals/stuff that we work with. :P
