Muses along the way...
Ever notice the subtle cultural differences around us? That which we consider weird, different, or even corny. But turn it around, from someone elses point of view, there are also quirks in our cultures that we take for granted too! Let's see if I can spot some of them as I travel across the continents.

That's INSANE!
I shudder to think of the amount of money involved in building and maintaining an indoor ski slope in the middle of a desert.
I came across this same news the other day too. Craziest part about it is that a all-day lift ticket only runs about $60. Not bad for the desert.
But, if you this this is crazy, you got to check out The World islands development. Also check out the Palm Islands too.
Tsunami, anyone?
You guys know what's insane is that the likes of Tiger Woods and Michael Jackson actually do like the idea of spending time there. Tiger tees off the 7-star Burj Al-Arab hotel helipad so often during the year, and Jacko supposedly was looking at buying property in Dubai some months back...
I guess its THEIR money that help make Dubai go round too.
Boring facts aside, Dubai is actually quite an interesting place. Been there!
Btw, do you also know that they are planning on building a Hydropolis here as well?
